- This was a student project by Jonah Weiss for Giannetto & Kautz's LARCH 640 course, Autumn 2005. The purpose of this studio was to analyze Whittier Peninsula and to develop a design of based on that analysis. This model shows depicts what can be seen from different parts of the site and how different elements such as topography, structures and vegetation interfere with those sight lines. All elements of the model are removable allowing the designer to experiment with different designs. The orange paper represents where the water tower can be seen, the white paper represents what can be scene from a certain points around the site, the green paper represents vegetation and the black represents structures. ---- Jonah Weiss This work is a part of the online collections of the Knowlton School of Architecture Student Archives, The Ohio State University. It is part of an effort to make accessible student work ranging from the first student that graduated from the program in 1903 to the present.
