Description
This was a student project by William Lehnert or Jane Amidon's LARCH 457 course, Autumn 2005. Through a system of plantings and wetlands, the contaminated soils of the whittier peninsula would eventually be remediated naturally. After the site is remediated, careful development would follow. During the course of this process, the whittier would be an outdoor research facility where thinking on phytoremediation, wetland remediation, and sustainable development would be built on. -- William Lehnert This work is a part of the online collections of the Knowlton School of Architecture Student Archives, The Ohio State University. It is part of an effort to make accessible student work ranging from the first student that graduated from the program in 1903 to the present. The effort to preserve and digitize drawings in the Student Archives was sponsored in part by the Graham Foundation. Keywords: student work, KSA, student models.
