This was a student project by Sara Bernhardt for Ndede Misumi's course ARCH 2410 in Autumn 2017.
A retreat house designed for a painter and musician where they can both practice and play. The living room becomes an art gallery/performance space, walls designed for the displaying of art, and the circulation through space becomes an additional way to experience the art. The windows and views deigned for the house play with light and views in order to achieve the feel of a retreat house and an escape into the beauty of nature.
