- This was a student project by Austin Lightle for Sandhya Kochar's course ARCH 3410 in Autumn 2017. My project was based on a critique of the plan. I used the plan of IKEA as a driving precedent for my project. I studied the way IKEA used stage sets as interrupters to the floor plan. These interruptions subdivided the spaces and created a plan without having to wall off the area. I created volumes that projected onto planes that derived the plans of my gym.
