Description
This was a student project by Austin Lightle for Galo Canizares' course ARCH 3410 in Autumn 2017. This project was about deriving architecture from an image. The project started as a series of images that were combined and live traced to obtain figure ground drawings. The drawings were mapped to a form to developed a system to program the building. I used the larger voids to create my massing, I used a second image to derive my circulation. The program was pavilioned and the circulation became a web that became figural and defined space.
