This was a student project by Mizuki Coronado for Sarah Hirschman's course ARCH 2410 in Autumn 2017. The project is a city house for the family of three generations. The balance of separation and connection was an important concept for this project. Main axis runs through the two entrances allows visual connection when someone comes home. The connecting roof and shared dining/roof terrace articulate the connection between two family while most spaces are separated and secure privacy of each family. The north and south facade have different style depends on the clients' preference. (traditional vs. contemporary) The project is adjustable for family composition change in the future.~root~>
