This was a student project by Jordan Scheuermann for Sandyha Kochar's course ARCH 3410 in Autumn 2017. Situated on the edge of the Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio is an undeveloped site. The site itself is nearly rectangular and serves as a gateway between the campus and surrounding museums, botanical garden, and park. A large donation has made the construction of an expansive medical library possible. The library will house an extensive collection of books and journals, a medical museum, classrooms, an auditorium, and ample individual and group study areas. The design developed as a response to a series of manipulations of distorted and superimposed images. From this image key relationships were extracted and analyzed to influence the form, program, and graphical qualities of the library.~root~>
