This was a student project by Christina Tefend for Stephen Turk's course ARCH 8420 in Spring 2018.
The concept of architectural landscapism combined theories from Rem Koolhaas’ 1909 theorem, tied with heavy research into landscape elements such as the cave. Using bits and pieces of many research endeavors, the final product was five .5 mile x .5 mile x .5 mile cubes, emulating the effects of voluntary prisoners. These cubes were a theoretical packed development for both people and animals in Australia’s Subtropical Desert, in a futuristic dwelling environment that utilizes landscape elements to form a greater architectural whole. - Christina Tefend ~root~>
