This was a student project by Jared Younger for Ban Wilke's course ARCH 8420 in Spring 2018.
The project sees Rome as a city within the Aurelian Walls. The Walls are overlooked for more interesting monuments in the center of the city. The walls, built 1800 years ago to keep people out, now welcomes all people in. The walls are no longer needed. However, they maintain some great architectural features and a multitude of spatial conditions. To show these, the wall is removed from its current location(s) and compiled on a site of fantastical reconstruction. The representation remains ambiguous as model shots, isometrics, and ortho drawings. - Jared Younger~root~>
