Description
This was a student project by Tristan Huck for Karen Lewis' course in ARCH 4420 in Spring 2018. The United States Postal System is in need of a transformation. The Post Stop reimagines and rebrands the postal system in place and looks at issues of convenience and identity. The architecture uses a horizontal organization for pedestrian and vehicle program and introduces a vertical organization for use by drone technology. The architectural wall of the building is where mail is carried through a banding of conveyer belts and elevators which makes for a clear connection between the architecture and the program.
