This was a student project by Samantha Hrusovsky for Matthew Teismann's ARCH 2410 course in Autumn 2018.
We were asked to redevelop the rest stop along Interstate 75 in Wapakoneta, Ohio. A prescribed program was given, but my studio was asked to create an additional programmatic element and event relevant to the site. Because I-75 travels from Cincinnati to Toledo, I decided to pay homage to director Steven Spielberg as a Cincinnati native and turned my rest stop into a Spielberg museum and drive-in movie theater.
