This was a student project by Ali Ahmed for Stephanie Sang Delgado's course ARCH 2410 in Autumn 2018. This project design was derived through the analyzation and abstraction of the Highway geometry. While I was analyzing interesting characteristics presented by this geometry, the qualities that loomed the most were the soft yet wide twists and turns. This curved line work was then extruded and straightened, in order to make the structure more habitable. The product of this process was a long and intricately formed structure. Later on this piece was divided into three separate pieces which then became the three buildings that sheltered the various programs. After the separation, the shapes were moved away from each other, to a location that still showed their relationship to each other, while allowing them to facilitate their respected functions.~root~>
