This was a student project by Taylor Shanley, Pamela Force, and Theresa Rathslag for Jacob Boswell and Ethan McGory's course LARCH 4960 in Autumn 2018.
The Waterman Farm Master Plan proposes the opportunity for the farm to act as a precedent for research-based agricultural institutions. By incorporating ecology to shape the farm’s functioning and increase overall site health and biodiversity, small scale research opportunities are created that provide additional learning opportunities and campus-wide collaboration. Public pathways, observation spaces, and community engagement areas can transform Waterman Farm into a campus learning destination.
