- A proposal to rewild the OSU golf course with a bog ecosystem. Bogs absorb runoff, provide habitat for endangered species, and sequester millions of tons of carbon dioxide. However, bogs have been nearly eradicated from development and peat harvesting. With Bogey Reserve, we replicate the conditions of a bog ecosystem to foster the ecological services bogs have historically offered.
