The goal of this project is to make the entrance to Parsons Avenue a destination for current residents and new visitors. Implementing a new multi-functional pavillion space will provide a beautiful building that is designed to be used by the people of the south side however they choose. This could include a gallery space, history of the south side exhibit, wedding venue, religious center, etc. This plaza will involve re-routing vehicular traffic, which will emphasize and greatly improve the pedestrian experience by slowing down passing traffic. Additionally, it will create a unique space that makes a statement about the importance of Parsons Ave.
