The House of the Rising Sea THE CLIMATE IS CHANGING There is a platform along the coast that they call the Rising Sea. It is a monumental procession rising from the ground into a mouth piece. Then it descends beneath the surface in a house of 10 million urns. THE SEA LEVEL IS RISING There is a tangible timeline of rising sea levels as the result of climate change. It is extended into the water as land and real estate disappear. Then it is submerged when all of Greenland is melted. THE CEMETERY IS UNDER WATER There is a boat passing overhead, and people under the sea. It is as if they are not underwater, they are in the blue openings facing the sky, Then it is experienced and extended to at risk coastal cities across the world.
