Vitra Collaboration aims to create a pleasant and inclusive experience for both customers and employees. The entire building is designed around two main forms of circulation - a longer, collaborative path on the bottom and a short, streamlined glass path above for single shoppers. The collaborative path gives customers the opportunity to construct their very own Vitra chair with the help of an assigned partner. Both paths allow for views of the entire process and the building leaves nothing hidden which promotes equality and highlights the importance of the worker. Precedents for the design & drawings are the works of Enric Miralles and Zaha Hadid.
