The High-rise Conference Hotel is located across from Bicentennial Park, an important park that links the Scioto River to Downtown Columbus. This skyscraper houses hotel rooms, restaurants, ballroom spaces, and many other ammenities. In order to address the program, while giving views of the river and park, the hotel rooms are situated to flow up from the ground. Another element housing the ammenities is connected to the hotel via the elevator core. All of these elements are then wrapped together with an outer skin system that acts as both structural and ornamentation of the tower.
