The house project explores the relationship between architectural form and the
topography of a site on a slope. This project has the intention of creating a living space between
the hill’s slope and the roof, as if the roof was the slope simply extracted from the hill. The
habitable space created between these two sloping conditions is for the resident couple,
gardeners, who use the massive amount of natural light let in by the windows wrapped along the
house. Significant precedent research came from Grace Farms, by SANAA, in New Canaan
Connecticut. The main procession follows two parallel staircases up the slope, both in the
interior and exterio~root~>
