The focus of this project was to redesign Huffman Prairie with a green-housing program in mind. This program required us to design a residential community that does not allow for private yards or individual car ownership. Instead, residents would share yard space with their neighbors and participate in an electric carshare program. A common theme throughout the design is recycling. Designing with recycled materials wherever possible was the main priority. Residents of the designed residential areas would live in recycled shipping container modular homes, and their backyards would be shared and include the pollinator module, the braided barrier, to support pollinators in the area.~root~>
