Float Kit

Description

The float kit is a modular system intended to stay resilient through the process of flooding as the risk grows. Each part of the system is inspired by vernacular architecture with histories of flooding, in order to envision a proactive solution for Franklinton in Columbus, Ohio. The mini islands created can be used as shelter and supply storage during an emergency, or as flexible gathering spaces like a farmers market or community center.;
