Description
The project revolves around a single, flexible cut and fold pattern that relates to the process of making clothes. This pattern not only serves as the foundation for the furniture, rooms, and structural components, but also allows for dynamic spatial flexibility through nesting and layering. The pattern’s ability to create false corners and divide space into smaller, distinct rooms while creating a sense of modularity and adaptability, making it easy to adjust the spatial configuration based on programmatic needs. Our concept provides a thoughtful exploration of how modularity, materiality, and spatial design can come together in a cohesive, adaptable system, allowing for public engagement while embracing the cyclical nature of fashion.
