Description
This was a student project by William H. Wolstein, who studied architecture at OSU like his father, J.B. Wolstein (see Related Items link below). William Wolstein showed promise as an architecture student and was invited to Taliesin West by Frank Lloyd Wright. He was also a member of the ROTC and in 1944, he left the University to fight in World War II. As a 2nd Lieutenant in the 76th Infantry Division, 417th Regiment, he was killed in Europe April 6, 1945. He is buried in the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, Limburg. This drawing is housed in the Knowlton School of Architecture Student Archives in Knowlton Hall, The Ohio State University. It is one of thousands of student projects retained over the last one hundred years.
