- For designing a shoe facade, this project explores the idea of stretched skin. Skin has the ability to mask and distort that which it covers; it can blur boundaries between objects, making them seem as one, continuous form. Wrapped tightly, it can reveal the structure beneath; lax, it disguises it. The stretched skin facade of the shoe store leaves those who experience it with a sense of wonder about what lies beneath.
