Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute

Description: This building is located at 473 W. 12th Ave on the site previously occupied by Upham Hall on the Ohio State University campus. Alternate names noted: Heart and Lung Research Institute. The premise of the project was to construct a new facility to concentrate the resources necessary to conduct an intensive program of teaching and research in diseases of the heart and lung. The Board of Trustees officially named the building The Dorothy M. Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute on November 3, 2000. The Davis family donated 10 million dollars to this effort.
