This was a student project by Drew Russell, Winter 2005 for Jane Amidon's LARCH 253 course. This project is a study of design resilience by recognizing currencies that take place on a landscape. It begins by identifying a disturbance on the landscape and studying its hierarchies. After developing a circulation parti based on ideas from the disturbance, plans are created for the oval that contain three phases for resilience. In addition, section drawings support the idea of resilience. Finally, a model was built from plexi-glass to illustrate the different phasing of the oval design. -- Drew Russell This work is a part of the online collections of the Knowlton School of Architecture Student Archives, The Ohio State University. It is part of an effort to make accessible student work ranging from the first student that graduated from the program in 1903 to the present. This effort was sponsored in part by the Graham Foundation.~root~>
