This was a student project by Drew Russell, Winter 2005 for Jane Amidon's LARCH 253 course. This project is a study of design resilience by recognizing currencies that take place on a landscape. It begins by identifying a disturbance on the landscape and studying its hierarchies. After developing a circulation parti based on ideas from the disturbance, plans are created for the oval that contain three phases for resilience. In addition, section drawings support the idea of resilience. Finally, a model was built from plexi-glass to illustrate the different phasing of the oval design. -- Drew Russell This work is a part of the online collections of the Knowlton School of Architecture Student Archives, The Ohio State University.
