Required program: - A proposed environmental center building with two finished floor elevations - Four handicap parking spaces and drop off - Different strategies for siting a building within the landscape: On, Under and Over the surface level In all iterations my primary goals were minimizing disturbance of the heavily forested site and enhancing the sense of arrival. In the Under and Over solutions I also added storm water treatment elements for educational and ecological purposes. --Tanya Parfenova.
