This precedent study was an examination of Les Jardins d'Eole by Georges Descombes and Michel and Claire Corajoud in Paris. The post-industrial landscape relates to the adjacent active industrial railway and surrounding working class neighborhoods through its recurring historical theme of trains and railway geometries and aesthetics. This model investigates the rough material palette of the project, the terraced organization, and the variety of small and large recreational spaces created by the site boundaries and vegetative strategies.
