- The Machine Storage Building is shown here as Herrick Archives number 957 and is located at 2400 West Case Road (The archive record shows an address of 2600 West Case Road). This building was not officially name by the Board of Trustees. It was constructed by the Agriculture Research Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture in accordance with an agreement between the university and the USDA executed in March and April 1977. The construction contracted was awarded to Cody-Ziegler of Columbus at $54,000. Construction started in November 1977 and the final inspection of the completed building was made on April 4, 1978.
