Description
The Maintenance Storage Shed is Herrick Archives Number 257. The building is located at 2661 Defiance Drive on The Ohio State University campus. This building was originally located at the rear of 2545 North Lorain in the Veterans Emergency Housing Project (Herrick Archives Number H 458). Since it was part of the original Buckeye Village, the building dates from 1947 or later. At its original location the building housed a surplus fire engine given to the University. It was relocated some time between June 1963 and July 1964, and was also known as the River Road Dormitory 11 Storage Shed.
