This is a student project by Joe Mayer from Autumn 2009. The third year of the graduate program concludes with expertise. Studios are advanced studies in contemporary architectural design, and are supported by courses in professional practice and seminars in theory and technology. Studios in the first two quarters investigate a range of typologies, techniques, and disciplinary concerns. The final studio is devoted to the student's exit review, which is a thirty-minute lecture summarizing the student's work and interests, and projecting future themes for professional engagement.
