This was a student project by Chung Tzu Yeh for Gabriel Esquivel's ARCH 441 course, Autumn 2006. The project is to study Affect which is a confluence of aesthetic strategy to directly pursuit of certain aspects from surface, pattern, movement and atmosphere. The development of the surface systems which employing techniques of stacking, perforating and affects of deformation are differentiated and repeated to produce the high density building. The structural system is generated by forming bubble spaces through manipulation of surfaces that could be inhabited and containing special programs. The operations of techniques allow the skin to be an adaptive system which acts as membrane differs from its surface to represent a new morphological condition through generating forms from surfaces. -- Chung Tzu Yeh This work is a part of the online collections of the Knowlton School of Architecture Student Archives, The Ohio State University.
