Description
This is a student project by Luke Anderson in Winter 2011. This house is modeled after the biological relationship between a parasite and host. The overall massings of the house are positioned to represent four different types of parasitic conditions. Within the house is the insertion of an art gallery(Mood River) that dictates the boundary of the competing geometries. Small apertures puncture the surface of the membrane that surrounds the gallery, which allows for a controlled interaction between public and private spaces. This work is a part of the online collections of the Knowlton School of Architecture Student Archives, The Ohio State University. It is part of an effort to make accessible student work ranging from the first student that graduated from the program in 1903 to the present.
