- North Commons, a dining facility, is located at 157 Curl Drive on the Ohio State University campus. It is shown here as Herrick Archives Building Number 192. Plans and related documents for the building were prepared by W.E. Linch, University Architect, and the general contractor was Baker & Coombs, Inc. The building opened for use in January 1966, and was named in memory of William A. North. From its opening, this building has been used as a coeducational dining and study facility. A bookstore was opened in the building in 1967.
