- The North Recreation Center was renamed the Jesse Owens Recreation Center North in 1980. Shown here as Herrick Archives Building Number 347, it is located at 2151 Neil Avenue. Plans and related documents for the facility were prepared by Sanborn, Steketee, Otis and Evans, Inc., in 1975, and the building opened for use on April 5, 1976.
