Pavilion Chairs and Laccio Table

Description
The Mies van der Rohe designed Pavilion Chair has a bent chromed flat steel frame with leather strapping and buttoned leather-upholstered cushions. It was designed in 1929 for the German Pavilion at the world exhibition in Barcelona. As a Bauhaus apprentice in 1925, Marcel Breuer conceived the low table as a companion to the Wassily chair, the first tubular steel design based on the tubed frame of a bicycle. --http://www.knoll.com These chairs and table are part of a collection of designer furniture located in the Knowlton Hall Library, The Ohio State University.
