Description
This was a graduate student project by Jacob Boswell for Jane Amidon's LARCH 633 course, Winter 2007. This project investigates the use of several layers of bioremediation for the removal of industrial contaminants. The proposal utilizes the remediative properties of native prairie grasses to cleanse site soils. Once remediated the site becomes home to a new remediative industry centered around the removal of greenhouse gases from automobile exhaust. The site becomes and expression of the industrial process while also acting to create programmatic adjacencies that tie the nearby residential neighborhood to the site and the industrial process. ---Jacob Boswell Keywords: student work, KSA, drawings and plans.
