Description
Pole Barn 1 is Herrick Archives Number 266. It was located at 2578 Kenny Road on The Ohio State University campus. Also known as the Horse Barn, it operated as part of the Temporary Veterinary Clinic (Herrick Archives Building 263). The original building was approximately 40' by 80', and was constructed in January 1966. In 1971, a shed 18' wide and 80' long was added along the south side. This building was demolished in October 1986 in connection with the construction of Stores & Receiving (Herrick Archives Building 381).
