- The Pump House at Mirror Lake is Herrick Archives Building Number S 3. It is located at 211 South Oval Drive for indexing purposes only on the Ohio State University campus. This is a small, hexangonal stone building of approximately 25 square feet and 8 feet high erected over the well east of Mirror Lake. It houses the pump and chlorination equipment. This building was once smaller and is referred to as H 470 (Pump House -original). A work order states that H 470 was expanded and the chlorination equipment was added to control algae and the hydrogen sulfide odor of the water.
