- The Quonsets 8-11 are Herrick Archives Numbers 166- 69. They were located at rear of Laneview School (Herrick Archives Building 139) at 1000 West Lane Avenue on The Ohio State University campus. The buildings were constructed by Ken Dickerson, Inc., and completed around late 1946. Building 168 was used as a shed to store salt for snow and ice removal. It was demolished during the last week of July 1972, and was replaced by Salt Storage Bin (Herrick Archives Building 258). This building was eventually replaced by Grounds Maintenance Equipment Storage (Herrick Archives Building 397). Building 169 was originally on the site of the Arena (Herrick Archives Building 076). It was moved to this Laneview site in 1954. This image shows the original location of Building 169 along with the final footprint of the Arena.
