- This exhibition titled Re-Figurations was located in the Banvard Gallery on the main level of Knowlton Hall from October 13 through December 19, 2008. Re-Figurations is a collection of projects done by Stephen Turk and Michael Williams, which were inspired by the work of Francis Bacon. BAKE 'n QUAKE (Turk) explores Bacon's methods of representation between objects and subjects in terms of identity construction and spatial boundaries. Re-MAKE-ing BACON and Kneading Bodies (Williams) are part of ongoing research into the haptic, visceral and in/visible forces that shape the body.
