- Description
- The Recreation & Physical Activity Center (RPAC) is a 5-level recreation and wellness complex that will serve the Ohio State University community. It is located adjacent to the Ohio Stadium at the terminus of Tuttle Park Place and will replace Larkins Hall. The center will be built in two phases. The design includes a natatorium complex, classrooms, locker rooms, laboratory spaces, racquetball courts, fitness areas, gymnasiums, offices, a childcare area, and will offer outdoor recreational spaces and pedestrian access to surrounding campus destinations. The project also includes a 665-car, 4-level parking garage. The facility will be integrated within the greater campus area in response to the Campus Master Plan. When completed, this 580,000-square-foot facility will be the largest collegiate recreation facility in the nation, if not the world. This image shows the 1/8 mile running/ walking track.~root~>
