- Description
- The Dublin Village Center site has been identified as one of the key areas in the city's efforts to create more livable urban environments. This project's design was to focus on connectivity. More specifically, connectivity through the implementation of both pedestrian-only and shared boulevards as main arteries through the site. The majority of activity is concentrated along the boulevards through high-density development. Main entry is addressed along the Sawmill front, with a new vehicular connection to Snouffer Road to the northwest serving as the main vehicular Boulevard. Additionally, the western entrance from Dublin is addressed with smoother vehicular access from Tuller Road. Individual designs focus on the different zones of the main pedestrian-only boulevard that acts as a spine to the site. Specific zones along the spine include an office/retail district, the main public green, an entertainment zone, and a residential community.~root~>
