This was a honors project by Kevin Hayes for Kay Bea Jones's ARCH 784 course, Spring 2008. Project statement: The studio was pursued as an investigation of the relationship between constructed images and a conceptualization of form. To exploit the potential of image-making as a formal strategy, the project was programmed as a photo booth; literally a representation machine. The act of automatic portraiture was given form as a temporal device which became a spatial construction only while in use. This work is a part of the online collections of the Knowlton School of Architecture Student Archives, The Ohio State University.~root~>
