Description
The Rothenbuhler Honey Bee Research Laboratory is Herrick Archives Number PH 384. It was officially named the Walter C. Rothenbuhler Honey Bee Research Laboratory on August 23, 1989 after Walter C. Rothenbuhler of Worthington. Mr. Rothenbulher spent 21 years as a faculty member at OSU and retired in 1985. He was a renowned pioneer in honeybee genetic research. Alternate names are Bee Laboratory and Bee Laboratory Replacement. It is located at 2501 Carmack Road. It also replaced the old lab which was a 70 year old poultry barn at 2396 Fyffe Road.
