Jidao is slowly evolving and wants to immerse its culture alone with that of tourism. The Miao culture with Hong descendants and its rich history is more than a treat for any tourist. However in the delicate environment that is Jidao, tourism should be introduced in a sustainable manner; not only to control the pollution the industry causes but to maintain the balance that already exists with the landscape and the people. The architecture should address the landscape conditions that determine it as well as to establish new relationships with it. The endless fields that dominate the landscape are a direct proportion of the economy of the Jidao village, thus the new economy and the old have to coexist. By making an architecture that is directly related to these fields, it ties the economy, the tourism, and all people into a balance ecosystem.~root~>
