- This is a student project by Drew Stanley from Autumn 2009. The second year of the undergraduate program is the foundation year. Studios address form and technique, and are supported by courses in history and graphics. Design projects are modest in scale with simple programs on prototypical sites. First and second quarter projects address singular public and commercial programs. Project sites forefront principles of context that are defined in terms of both architecture and landscape. The year concludes with full-scale installations in Knowlton Hall that are designed and built by students, thereby grounding techniques of abstraction to real world construction.
