This is a student project by Elizabeth Schneider for ARCH 641 in Autumn 2010. The shotgun shack was an exercise in combining programs together while simultaneously creating specific atmospheres for those programs. The combination of programs was based off of the shape and size of the body. Different programs, such as stair and lounge, were combined in order to create unique forms that fulfilled both functions. This work is a part of the online collections of the Knowlton School of Architecture Student Archives, The Ohio State University. It is part of an effort to make accessible student work ranging from the first student that graduated from the program in 1903 to the present. The effort to preserve and digitize drawings in the Student Archives was sponsored in part by the Graham Foundation.~root~>
