Our installation for the theme Mobility meets Strategy was a set of deployable inflatables with universal connections using metal button snaps to allow for multiple possible organizations. The set included two basic pyramids, one central pyramid, and two manipulated pyramids and was inflated by two floor fans. The first manipulation was horizontally, with one base point being stretched 8' from the center. The second pyramid manipulated the vertex by shifting it 3' diagonally towards a corner. The spaces can be further manipulated by pulling the string that hangs down from the vertex and tying it to the base to invert the tip of the pyramid. This can be used to separate spaces within the project or to reduce overall area for faster inflation.
