This was a student project by Ryan Gilliland and Matt Scott for Beth Blostein's ARCH 343 course, Spring 2008. Project statement: It was our goal to address the issue of symmetry as it applies to the chair. We sought to create balance within the whole through the use of dependent, rotated duplicate shapes. We also wanted to explore the use of multiple simplified modules. The occupant of our chair is positioned in a similar fashion to the chair itself --rotating from their respective origins. -- Ryan Gilliland and Matt Scott~root~>
